The Wise Saying (Part 2)

  • Pay close attention, son, and let my life be your example. Prostitutes and immoral women are a deadly trap. They wait for you like robbers and cause many men to be unfaithful.
  • Show me someone who drinks too much, who has to try out some new drink, and I will show you someone miserable and sorry for himself, always causing trouble and always complaining. His eyes are bloodshot, and he has bruises that could have been avoided.
  • Don't let wine tempt you, even though it is rich red, though it sparkles in the cup, and it goes down smoothly. The next morning you will appear before your eyes, and you will not be able to think or speak clearly. You will feel as if you swinging high up in the rigging of a tossing ship. "I must have been hit," you will say; "I must have been beaten up, but I don't remember it. Why can't I wake up? I need another drink."
  • Don't be envious of evil people, and don't try make friends with them. Causing trouble is all they ever think about; every time they open their mouth someone is going to be hurt.
  • Homes are built on the foundation of wisdom and understanding. Where there is knowledge, the rooms are furnished with valuable, beautiful things
  • Being wise is better than being strong, yes knowledge is more important than strength. After all you must make careful plans before you fight a battle, and the more good advice you get, the more likely you are to win.
  • If you are always planning evil, you will earn a reputation as a troublemaker. Any scheme a fool thinks up is sinful. People hate a person who has nothing but scorn for others
  • If you are weak in a crisis, you are weak indeed.
  • Don't hesitate to rescue someone who is about to be executed unjustly. You may say that it is none of your business, but God knows and judges your motives. He keeps watch on you; he knows. And he will reward you according to what you do.
  • Son, eat honey; it is good. And just as honey from the comb is sweet on your tongue, you may be sure that wisdom is good for the soul. Get wisdom and you have a bright future.
  • Don't be like the wicked who scheme to rob honest people or to take away their homes. No matter how often people fall, they always get up again; but disaster destroys the wicked.
  • Don't be glad when your enemies meet disaster, and don't rejoice when they stumble. The LORD will know if you are gloating, and he will not like it; and then he might not punish them.

To be wise you must first have reverence for the LORD. If you know the Holy One, you have understanding

Folklore

As I begin to brainstorm, with grey clouds of thought matter
The novelty of the basis of atoms and the structure of belief logical orders
With words that transpire from local norms to rupture wisdom tatter
The lawyers' daze has prisons intertwined into unfazed systems
We live the unbroken promises with linguistic scripts on donkey rhythms
Morphing religions to attest to catechisms of the future
If a spirit should drown or a soul wear a frown in the distorted picture
Whence do my sorrows lie if this life is a lie?...
The birds engulfed into barren space only to be invisible to the denuded eye?
Oh life folklore
Preachers' mental incarceration at the authority of the temple
Oh death folklore
Spiritual warfare at the face of eternity burning ice until spirits dismantled
Shivering sounds escaping my ears as we ignite inverted candles
Giving animation to dry bones and mortified words on artistic revamp
Inspiration for infallibility dies in a truth attempt...

The Alba Madonna

What incense have you buried under bristling grounds Madonna?
Malice habitats your stool, you don't hold strong your fortress
Why do you rekindle my fire Madonna?
Your sweet kiss of halo dissembles your proximity, venomous mistress
Plaguing our tangible spirits, trapped in your hallucinogenic daze
Guarding your identity Isis as Horus beholds crucifixes as if fazed
Paper tigers have fleecy skin and weary feathers
Prophetic words are now working your centers
Organic minds obliterating you into splinters
Cooked and canned eulogies come in a basket brewed from underground mentals
A fool will paint his ties and mystify denotation, like bionic souls emerging as sentimental
Spew your fallacies and stop us haunting mysteries of third eyes
Sticking needles in your shadow, bare feet and thistles familiarize
Blank sheets are calling out to awakenings as if the revolution could be televised
Tears cried in true essence of broken mental ties
Fears scuffled into fragments of your frequent rotten lies
All painted and portrayed in this thesis...
I speak spiritual constipation like faeces
Words off tantrums and silence like peace is
Navigating a tableau, picturing Isis in a sheep skin of Mary
Maybe then, The Alba Madonna isn't so merry...
